Job description
The Accounts Assistant reports functionally to the Accounts Executive.
Job Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate the verification and approval of purchase invoices and staff reimbursements
- Record supplier invoices and staff reimbursements in accounting system
- Prepare payment of supplier invoices
- Coordinate inventory count of uniforms as per policy
- Assist in month end closing and preparation of monthly management reports
- Follow up on outstanding customer invoices with parents and other debtors
- Assist in the annual financial audit
- All other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- A team player with good communication skills
- Self-motivated and takes initiative to inquire on finance related matters with internal departments and external vendors
- Possess a relevant Diploma or Professional qualification in Accounting
