DURATION: 3+ months

Description:
We are seeking an Account Manager that will provide support to Medium, Large & Enterprise level merchants within newly acquired business pipeline. As an Account Manager, you will manage multiple relationships / projects with these newly acquired sellers both new and existing to the Marketplace.

An Account Manager is accountable to ensure our partnered merchants are provided with a solid foundation of standard practices & behaviors, preparing sellers to sell at scale on a channel that is new and opportunistic. Teaching methods that are aligned with appropriate and eCommerce Industry standards and behaviors that allow for businesses to be successful.

The Integration Account Manager will report to a Manager in The Merchant Integration team which is part of the broader Revenue and Seller Services organization.

Responsibilities:
  • The ideal candidate will assume complete ownership of individual outcomes associated with each assigned merchant being integrated to the Marketplace including:
    • Provide seamless transition of customer from Client Sales to the currently designed Merchant Integration process
    • An emphasis in networking with internal individuals / teams and external sellers / buyers to partner stakeholders for success in the Marketplace
    • Understanding of integration goals and processes (inclusive of user interface, 3rd party relationships and direct API's)
    • Inform and teach new and existing sellers methodologies & behaviors consistent with the best-selling and buying experiences as businesses selling successfully
    • Partnering with sellers to ensure they can list & maintain / update inventory as well as consume and successfully fulfill orders technologically and operationally on a consistent basis through various path options to integrate
    • Implementation of key site initiatives and maintenance of a healthy business on the platform
    • Thorough understanding of E2E listing and transaction flow, ensure business is providing customer service excellence for uyers
    • Ability to troubleshoot customer issues and collectively work with internal counterparts on GCX, Policy, Trust, Risk, Marketing, Verticals, and other business units
    • Understanding and working through complex issues by way of appropriate processes and channels
    • Maintain and record relevant customer interactions and opportunities in Salesforce
    • Responsible for KPI's that include inventory commitments, seller standards, and customer satisfaction while understanding the inputs needed to achieve these KPI goals
  • In addition to above responsibilities, you will want to be prepared to analyze and communicate results including key performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis around approach to quickly integrate new and existing sellers using a concise but quality approach
  • Identify optimization opportunities and implement new workflows as needed for the multiple approaches that an integration can take day to day. Allow for the volatility of the online marketplace and identify early the impact of impending changes and improvements relative to both the and seller business
  • Partner with a Business Development Team, and those on other seller focused teams to share standard methodologies in order to accelerate a seller to achieve the ability to sell quickly and effectively

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or college diploma
  • Ability to thrive and evolve in a fast-paced environment day to day
  • Demonstrated relationship management and project management experience with developing partnerships and processes, as well as establishing trust with key partners involved throughout the integration process
  • Ability to position self to influence and positively challenge complex businesses to adopt new, or improve existing, eCommerce Strategy taking place with seller as they venture forward with ***
  • Knowledge of eCommerce/retail selling strategies
  • Analytical, can-do, problem-solver with curiosity and an appetite to want to be challenged and grow
  • Ability to prioritize multiple, contending, high priority projects - innate ability to identify creative solutions is key
  • Strong analytical thinking, written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Organized and hardworking with strong attention to detail
