DESIGNATION : Accountant (AP)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accountant

Kaplan Singapore is looking for an Accountant to manage financial transactions, from payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Detail-oriented, professional, and able to adapt to different situations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure purchases, payments and controls adhered to Company’s policy.
  • Preparation of expenses budgets and forecasts.
  • Review payments to universities. Gain in depth understanding of various University payments and keep track of changes.
  • Assist in preparing of monthly schedules for management review.
  • Timely and accurate monthly closure of Accounts Payable modules, analyze expenses trend of the company with commentary, highlight areas of concern and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in AP related automation projects. Attend to any system issues (finance related) including system implementation.


QUALIFICATIONS

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy / ACCA / CPA
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in similar capacity
  • Familiar with local financial reporting standards, corporate tax and GST and withholding tax statutory requirement
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience
