Role Summary/Purpose

Suntar is a separation and filtration specialist listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The Singapore office is actively looking for an Accountant Assistant who is proactive and result-oriented to join the Finance team, with a focus on accounting, consolidation, and cash management.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for financial monthly close and financial reporting and resolve discrepancies

· Maintain and update transactions and records relating to sales, purchase, receivables, payables, and cash disbursements accurately in accounting system

· Liaise with internal and external auditors, banks and other professional and regulatory bodies

· Ensure timely invoicing and billing to customers & inter-company transactions

· Review staff expenses and process expense reports

· Gather and analyse financial information for internal use

· Analysis of credit assessment of customers

· Assist in audits, budgeting and funding

· Support in the evaluation of company performance, risk assessment and risk management

· Support in business planning and decision-making

· Perform administrative functions and other tasks assigned by leaders

Qualifications / Requirements

· Polytechnic graduate in Accounting and/or professional qualification in Accounting

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel

· Strong planning and analytical skills, detail-oriented and high sensitivity to timeline

· Familiarity with trade finance and/or banking products would be an advantage

· Stellar written and oral communication skills

· Responsible, independent and proactive individual yet able to work well in a team

· Fluency in Mandarin and English
