Administrative Support IV (Human Factors)

SUMMARY
The Administrative Support IV (Human Factors) will administer experimental protocol in the conduct of research projects to quantify and assess human performance data in a variety of laboratory or field conditions or collected from existing data
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
- Assists in the preparation of surveys, collect data, enter data, and manage databases.
- Assists with development of project-related reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
- Conducts experimental protocol for collecting data from human participants.
- Assists in the maintenance of research databases.
- Verifies data and report accuracy and validity.
- Scans and/or enters data.
- Performs Audio transcription.
- Other research and administrative duties as assigned.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma plus 6 years related research experience;
- Bachelors in Engineering Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Applied Psychology, Applied Social Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related program where research in social science is evident.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong computer software (Microsoft Office) skills required.
- Knowledge of Statistics for the Social Sciences (SPSS) or Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) is a plus.
- Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background investigation
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled office setting.
Cherokee Federal has suspended it’s COVID mandate. However it’s important to note that Cherokee Federal employees are included as covered employees in U.S. Presidential Executive Order 14042, which mandates Covid vaccines for federal contractors. Executive Order 14042 is currently not subject to enforcement by the Federal government. Therefore, Cherokee Federal has suspended application of the mandate and continues to monitor the government’s guidance on administration of any vaccine requirement.
