Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm EST.

The appeals nurse consultant is responsible for day-to-day management of appeals requests to ensure effective, timely and customer-focused resolution of provider appeals. Facilitates communication amongst team members. Collaborate with other departments to resolve service issues, improve service levels and maximize customer satisfaction. Identify trends and issues; provide process improvement suggestions and recommend solutions as appropriate.

This position will support the appeals team within TPA and Payer Solutions organization which is responsible for the research and resolution of all provider appeals.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 55,300
Maximum: 118,900

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of appeals or grievance experience
• 5+ years of utilization management experience
• An active and good standing RN in state of residence
• 10+ years of clinical experience required
