As a Senior/Applications Analyst for the SMART Operations Systems team, your main roles and responsibilities would include: • Drive and lead the planning for the second phase of the smart water meter project, including driving the cost benefits analysis exercise, determining the technologies to be adopted and proposing appropriate contracting mechanisms. • Management of the appointed Smart Water Meter (SWM) Specialist and Contractor to ensure good progress in the demonstration project for the first 300,000 smart water meters, including resolving changes in accordance with the awarded contracts, budget and manpower issues. • Lead Whole-of-Government (WOG) engagements to facilitate the smooth implementation of the SWM project and WOG use of SWM data. • Work with the radio specialist in the Narrowband-Internet of Things (NB-IoT) trials (Groundwork for the second phase) • Work with internal PUB stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment of the SWM system in adherence to budget and timeline.

• Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in planning or project management. • Thrive at working independently and as part of a larger team. • Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills. • Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
