Job Description

• Provide digital service architecture design and solutions for IT implementation to enable current and future business operations in the most efficient, secure and sustainable manner.
• Drive IT and security standards, and promote the use of shared and cloud infrastructure to reduce costs and improve information flow.
• Explore and implement new technology, and develop technology roadmaps and technical architecture plans.
• Project manage new initiatives and integrate them into existing systems.
• Engage, communicate and present IT solutions at all levels.
• Explore new application architecture for the web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with the development team to convert designs to visual elements and implement new features.

Requirements

• Relevant background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related disciplines.
• Possess at least 5 years of IT working experience, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in solution design and implementation or consulting.
• Experience in architecting and deploying cloud-based solutions that leverage native cloud services in Azure or AWS.
• Possess system thinking skills (see how parts interact with the whole) and design thinking skills (apply human-centred techniques to solve problems in a creative and innovative way).
• Knowledge of IT governance and operations, and a good understanding of application security and data protection. Familiarity with IM8 policies and standards will be advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in real-time event processing on IoT platforms and disruptive technologies such as machine learning, blockchain, and cognitive technologies will be advantageous.
• Development experience for web and mobile applications, and the ability to evaluate applications for performance issues, bugs, and design flaws.
• Ability to operate as a high-performing member in cross-functional teams.
• Having certifications in IT enterprise architecture, project management or cloud architecting will be advantageous.

Working Hours

• Mon to Thu: 8.30am to 6pm;
• Fri: 8.30am to 5.30pm
