Foodhall is a leading specialty grocery and beverage store in the Mission. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and hygiene.

Job Summary:
As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Manager in managing day-to-day operations. This includes overseeing the stocking, organization, and merchandising of products, managing inventory levels and ordering, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and providing exceptional customer service to all shoppers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Manager in supervising, training, and scheduling staff
• Ensure product displays and signage are maintained to company standards
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and order products as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving issues
• Work with the Manager to develop and implement departmental strategies to drive sales and meet financial goals

Requirements:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Interest in and passion for specialty food and beverages
• Ability to lift 40lb
• Availability to work weekends and / or evenings
• Familiarity with inventory management software and point-of-sale systems
• Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field is preferred
