CARROLL is growing, and we are looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to our Florida team! This individual will initially be assigned to an extensive renovation project in Kissimmee, FL.

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for daily meetings with the site operations team members, devising construction schedules and timelines, and overseeing contractors and subcontractors throughout the project. Candidates must have experience with renovation construction project management as well as the ability to adhere to deadlines and budget restrictions. This individual should be comfortable working independently with limited direct oversight in a multiple-location environment.
You will
- Consult with the Operations team and Asset Management team to determine renovation needs
- Coordinate all scheduling for interior and exterior improvements
- Confirm all activities for construction projects are performed to specifications
- Implement cost-effective solutions and project management techniques throughout the project
- Maintain daily log of progress, weather activity, material delivery, staging shifts, and OSHA safety requirements
- Coordinate all construction project activities and services across all construction disciplines
- Oversee a strict renovation schedule, ensuring milestones are reached, and deadlines are met
- Update Operations, Asset Management, and key stakeholders on progress throughout the project
- Engage with the operations team to coordinate resident awareness campaigns
- Work with the operations team to prioritize interior renovations
- Perform walkthrough and aftercare instructions with the Operations team after each phased completion
You have
- 1+ years of experience in renovation experience
- 1+ years of experience as a construction project management requirement
- Proficiency in MS Excel/MS Project required
- CAD experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Management skills, experience in team and project management
- Florida sub-contractor relationships
- Customer service-focused attitude
- Ability to travel throughout the state of Florida as needed
