Summary
The Production Department is seeking a qualified candidate to be an Associate Business Leader at our Atlanta Main facility. The purpose of the Associate BUL is to lead and own the eSpace results for the shift and production team assigned. This role with need a hands on leader that is capable to develop strong ownership, leaders and skill capability within the assign team. Success will be measured for this leader by the following within their shift and team:
- Leadership, Skill Capability, Communication
- Safety Performance
- Product Quality
- OEE
- Cost
- Ensuring proper feedback, input, and ownership of improvement or capital projects
Schedule:
- Plant is a 24/7 Operation
- A shift, 2-2-3, 12-hour schedule of the assigned shift and team
- Flexibility to change schedule and work overtime as needed to complete job responsibilities and duties
- Workdays and schedules may change periodically according to business needs
- Starting Compensation $40.87 per hour
Responsibilities:
The employee will have the following responsibilities:
- Ownership within an assigned production team and shift.
- Ownership for the responsibilities outlined are defined as in the “What” you’ll need to accomplish & “How” you’ll work with your team to accomplish those responsibilities. Therefore, you need to own the results for each of these areas but it’s just as important how you’re working with your team to accomplish the results leveraging the Clorox values (Do The Right Thing, Put People at the Center, Play to Win) & leadership behaviors (Head, Heart, Guts).
- You’ll report directly to the Ops Manager of the production area and team assigned.
- You own your shift performance for the team assigned, “Green” across eSpace goals for your team.
- Ownership in getting coverage to backfill in unplanned outages from work (Back Up, Associate BUL, BUL, Ops Manager, etc.…)
- It will be the Associate BUL’s responsibility to adequately develop someone within their team to backfill them on planned outages, vacation/personal/etc.…
- You’ll be the owner of communication for your team. From associates to leadership and from leadership to associates for your team and shift. You’re part of the leadership team.
- Ownership of communication from shift to shift to other respective BULs, Associated BULs, and Operations Mangers
- Ownership of your shift and area will own the production confirmations
- Ownership of your team’s skill development, building capability within the Crew Leads to own and develop the skill capabilities of their team’s. You own your team’s capability, if you can’t develop their capabilities, you must follow the process to replace.
- You’ll work in coordination and oversight of a BUL or Ops Manager to conduct disciplinary actions within your team. You’ll hold your team accountable in this process to our expectations of leadership, working together, safety, quality, and performance.
- Ownership of the schedule and time off approvals. Ownership of approving your team’s submissions for vacation, PTO, etc… Associate BUL’s must approve submissions of vacancies due to line outages from Scheduler prior to posting to site. You own your labor cost vs budget (full time & temps).
- Ownership of the review, modification, and submissions withing UltiPro / UKG. Final approval to be done by Ops Manager or BUL.
- Facilitation of Tier meetings as necessary Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3

- Follows established safety rules, ethics, and workplace conduct policies. Participates in plant safety initiatives as required. Participates regularly in WCO activities and Daily Ops meetings. Performs other miscellaneous administrative and leadership duties as needed and required.
