We’re looking for an Associate Director, Market Risk Reporting and Analysis Specialist to:
- Build and maintain an understanding of UBS’ trading portfolio, as well as analyze risk sensitivities (Greeks).
- Analyze and understand how UBS’ portfolio could react to market and economic events.
- Execute the strategic vision of the team which involves RPA (Robotics Process Automation), Adoption of Business Intelligence, Dash Boards and Visualization tools like Power BI.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to plan for cost optimized solutions, manage delivery, implementation, and process improvement.
- Define data and data quality control requirements acting as the interface to group-wide risk systems / operations.
- Gather and review IT risk metrics, coordinating across various enterprise risk management processes, working with risk related tools and developing risk process documentation for effective management to track and report on key deliverables.
- Perform trend and variance analysis on risk sensitivities, exposures and VAR.
- Own the reporting numbers, providing analysis, daily sign off and raising data issues and errors.

Your expertise
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in risk analysis, information technology, or related occupation.
- Employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science or a related field of study and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or in risk analysis, information technology, or related occupation.
- Position requires experience with the following:
- Power Bi or any reporting tool;
- RPA (Robotics Process Automation);
- SSRS/SSAS;
- Trading portfolio;
- Trend and variance analysis;
- Unix;
- PERL scripting;
- Oracle PL/SQL;
- Autosys;
- TOAD;
- Splunk;
- App Dynamics;
- Fix Protocol;
- Python;
- JIRA;
- ServiceNOW;
- Confluence;
- Cloud technologies, including, Azure, Databrick, Data Lake, AKS, and Grafana.
