Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for students with financial aid related questions by counseling incoming and current students on financial aid resources.
• Replying to all departmental correspondences and messages within 24 hours
• Working with other departments on achieving enrollment and retention goals
• Assist in onboarding and training new advisors
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Campus Director/Corporate Director of Financial Aid.
• Review financial aid applications, forms, and documentation for completeness and accuracy; verify information reported on FAFSA to determine eligibility. Complete verification procedures where needed.
• Input FAFSA, review resulting ISIR and maintain financial aid funding schedule in CLASS.
• Provide entrance and exit counseling
• Answer questions, inquiries or requests from students or parents
• Responsible for complete and accurate files and paperwork
• Maintain a close working relationship with Admissions and other personnel
• Remain current on all applicable laws and regulations
• Attend financial aid workships and conferences
• Supervise, train, and evaluate department staff; work with staff to assign responsibilities, determine department priorities and procedures
• Prepare reports for Corporate Director of Financial Aid as requested

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Computer literacy skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Minimum of 1 year of Financial Aid experience is required

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
