Position Title: Associate Manager, Supply Chain Analytics

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Supply Chain Team, as an Associate Manager, Supply Chain Analytics. This role has primary responsibility for executing the analytical supply chain strategy of the Packaging and Specialty Papers business unit. This position serves as a thought leader within the supply chain leadership team and executes the strategy to drive forward transformational change. In addition, this role will support the supply chain internship program, developing new talent within the organization.

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Maintain and Continuously Improve Supply Chain Analytics

• Primarily responsible for key metrics provided within the P&SP Supply Chain.
• Helps to develop the most effective KPI’s for the supply chain processes.
• Rapidly adapts to a changing environment to provide the best visibility and data to problem solve new challenges.
• Leads the executional strategy of the reporting schedule.
• Cross collaborates with other Mativ supply chain departments to share best practices, identify non-value activities and drive process change to improve.

S&OP, Supply, and Demand Planning

• Supports in key demand planning activities, including gathering customer forecasts, working within software to create unconstrained and consensus forecasts, as well as refining the process in order to reduce forecast error.
• Translates the demand forecast into actionable supply requirements.
• Develop Supply Plan recommendations based upon demand and inventory requirements.
• Communicates needs effectively to supply chain leadership organization, highlighting levers to be pulled to change outcomes, including projected results of each lever proposed.

Business Analysis

• • Serves as a subject matter expert to other analysts along with internship team with complex problem solving.
  • Simulates various options to create the greatest possible outcome, taking into consideration the strategic requirements of the business.
  • Leads the inventory health process for the P&SP business unit.

Thought Leading and Strategy Setting

• • Generates creative ideas to solve complex problems.
  • Molds the vision and direction of the analytics team to create alignment with the higher levels of the organization, including goals, culture, development, and strategy
  • Leverages existing technology and build new capabilities that drive improved service, efficiencies and reduced costs.

Process Improvement Initiatives and Planning Tools

• Is mindful of different ways that we can improve our processes, systems, and day-to-day tasks.
• Leverages the tools the company provides to most effectively execute in the position.
• Helps lead the team to improve upon the current tools and process.

Lead the Supply Chain Internship Team

• • Serves mentorship and direction to the internship team.
  • Fosters development of interns through observing, teaching, and coaching as they mature their professional skills.
  • Provides work direction and objectives for the team.

• • Assists in the recruiting and hiring process of the internship team.

Qualifications:

Required Education & Skillsets:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Quality Management, Operations Management and/or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience
  • Ability to effectively work on multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Self-directed, works well independently and in a team environment
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office expertise
  • Able to execute analytics with little / no supervision or have a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new direction
  • Ability to develop new analytical techniques with support of broader team
  • Strategic Thinker
  • Intellectually curious, proactive and highly adaptable self-starter
  • Solution-focused and flexible to adapt to the needs of the business
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills with the ability to engage, motivate and influence stakeholders and senior leaders; the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate others

Preferred:

• • SQL and/or other coding experience
  • Experience leading a team is preferred
