As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine. HARBORVIEW FACILITIES & CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT has an outstanding full-time opportunity for a An Audio Visual (AV) Program Operations Specialist (POS) to join our team and will report directly to the Manager of Space Planning and Utilization Review.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment throughout the medical center
  • Systematically manage and coordinate repairs and upgrades to mitigate failures and ensure continued functionality
  • Review building and construction plans for installations, upgrades, and demos
  • Plan upgrades of meeting spaces and audiovisual technology, including research, design, and cost estimation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex audio, video, switching, control system and equipment issues as discovered or reported by end users
  • Maintain departmental SharePoint intranet site
  • Track inventory of equipment and components
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures, user guides, and reference material for conference room facilities
  • Train workforce members on the operation of conference room systems, audiovisual equipment, and videoconference technologies



  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Management OR equivalent experience in related field.
