What to expect:
- Handles complex issues within the Logistics Control Tower which caused interruption in production or over deliveries by performing root cause analysis when applicable, including the analysis/control of the inventory level
- Provides feedback to management on procedure problems, and recommends corrective action, including downtime and root cause analysis, implementation of countermeasures, shop-floor support, cycle count analysis and discrepancy reports
- Analysis of key performance indicators
- Statistical understanding and reporting of volumes
- Participates in regularly scheduled meetings
Position Details:
- Schedule (2nd shift): Monday – Thursday, 13:55 – 22:15,
Friday 13:55-23:35 (when shift is extended) - Core working Hours: Based on scheduled shift
- Weekly Overtime: None
- Weekend Work: Saturdays if production is running
What you bring along:
-
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or in a related field required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Relevant experience in the field of automotive operations, supply chain management, or Logistics.
- Experienced in control tower operations
Additional skills: special skills / technical ability:
- Ability to work during scheduled work hours, as well as overtime, including weekends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
The Logistics Control Tower Specialist supports the Shopfloor (2nd shift) by enhancing the visibility between production and the Logistics Service Providers. This position will handle complex issues which cause interruptions in production or over deliveries by performing root cause analysis when needed. This includes the analysis and control of the inventory, creating reports, and preventive actions within the Logistics Control Tower.
