Job description
This position is responsible for assisting the Behavioral Team Leader and BCBA to conduct Behavioral Assessments and develop Behavior Plans using approved Applied Behavior Analysis techniques and strategies; trains, monitors, and assists counselors in the implementation of the behavior plans;
Ensures and oversees proper data collection/documentation; conducts monthly progress reviews and generates progress reports based upon the analysis of the data; leads counselors in implementation of all classroom activities, lessons, and behavior plans; ensures positive prompting and reinforcement of children for replacement behaviors and positive communication, social interactions, engagement in activities, and problem solving/coping.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)
- Under the supervision of Behavioral Team Leader and/or BCBA, assist in the comprehensive assessment of identified target behaviors and make recommendations regarding prescribed courses of action.
- Assist in the development of individualized programs, which include acquisition and reduction procedures related to the functions of the target behavior, model and monitor the implementation of the behavior plan and data collection.
- Lead assigned classroom in the engagement of all activities and lessons (using required curriculum); ensure that all counselors engage children using positive prompting and reinforcement strategies
- Effectively coordinate and participate in orientation and in-service training by orienting new team members, arranging for team members to attend training sessions and supporting on-going employee development.
Required Qualification/Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED
- RBT Certification (preferred upon hire or required within 6 months of hire)
- 3 or more years of experience including implementation of ABA plans with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Valid FL drivers license
Salary:
- $42,000 annually
