CalWORKs Bilingual (Spanish) Mental Health Case Manager:

· Education Level is on requisition form (AA degree/B.A or B.S)

· Experience

1. 1yr or more experience working in the field of mental health/social services.

2. Fluent in Spanish, both oral and written communication.

· Skills and Knowledge

1. Ability to relate to individuals who have severe impairments in their ability to function level.

2. Ability to respond quickly and effectively to clients who are in crisis

3. Ability to work in a disciplinary team, to work within the agency, community, and families.

4. Must have valid CA Driver’s License and adequate insurance.

· Duties:

1. Knowledgeable of implementing a plan to deliver services.

2. Knowledgeable about required paperwork established by DMH/CalWORKs.

3. Adhere to documentation required by rehab interventions and community linkages such as, homelessness.

4. Facilitate outreach, which include CalWORKs referral process.

5. Ability to work independently and navigate throughout the community.

6. Knowledgeable in domestic violence and clients with physical needs

7. Knowledgeable of rehab and crisis interventions, along with group facilitation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
