Job Description & Responsibilities
One of the main goals of a Building Maintenance Technician is responding to maintenance requests and handling any necessary repairs, such as fixing flooring, drywall, plaster and painting. Some of their typical daily duties include:
As a Building Maintenance Technician with us, you will be responsible for overall building & facilities maintenance repairs and upkeep to ensure each building is operating at maximum performance.
- This position diagnoses problems and makes repairs in areas such as but not limited to, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, dry walling, appliances, and exterior structure.
- Performing quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Testing and recommending new maintenance products.
- Meet with and run bids with vendors for maintenance projects.
- Responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the property meet the customers established standards as well as ensuring workplace safety and OSHA standards.
- Responsibilities included such as inventory, report documentation, property walks, and inspections.
- Performs walk-through inspections of units to inventory damage, needed repairs and service requirements. Analyzes unit damage, assesses cost of repairs, and charges to former unit resident as applicable.
- Executes client repair requests & service tickets.
Qualifications
through the use your knowledge and skills in plumbing, construction, electrical and HVAC work.
Benefits:
- $22-$27 per hour
- 8 Observed Paid Holidays
- 3 PTO days after 30 days of employment.
- 1 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of employment for full time employees.
