YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure parts supply during the development process focusing on quality, development schedule and supplier capacity, at best overall cost of acquisition.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial and administrative data related to parts portfolio.
  • Manage, control and maintain an effective and strategic business relationship with external suppliers.
  • Managing the supplier selection process; coordinating the exchange of information between the supplier and the engineering and quality assurance departments for the entire life of the sourced part, and supporting initiatives related to supplier performance management.
  • Assisting the supplier quality assurance department in communicating with suppliers and completing product development quality steps.
  • Contributing to the negotiation, amendment, and fulfillment of agreements and contracts with strategic suppliers in accordance with the company’s orientations and product requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • HS Diploma.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing.
  • Working knowledge of ERP Systems (ex. SAP).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor degree in Purchasing, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Proven excellence in written and oral communication; good interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization and externally.
  • Leadership, dedication and capacity to perform under pressure and desire to grow professionally.
  • Good priority management and teamwork skills.
  • Strategic vision and highly developed capacity for analysis.
  • Purchasing of material for new product development.
