We are seeking a talented, collaborative individual to join our iTalk team. This team develops software solutions that enables consumers to use voice-based communication to conduct transactions with their banks and credit unions. This is a tight-knit team of 4 developers working closely in an Agile environment, with back-end databases and front-end design solutions.

This position can be based to work out of any Jack Henry office or remote from any US location.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
  • Performs system analysis and programming activities which require research.
  • Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.
  • Provides reasonable task and project cost/effort estimates.
  • Ensures timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production.
  • Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Creates required technical documentation.
  • Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards, including awareness of security best practices. May participate in the definition and documentation of standards.
  • Collaboratively works with QA and Operations team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Collaboratively works with customer support team to resolve or diagnose defects.
  • Assists in training and mentoring less experienced peers.
  • Motivated to learn and have self-learning skills.
  • Motivated to work in a team environment with peers and Senior Engineers
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in software development.
  • Must have experience with all of the following: C# and SQL.
  • Ability to communicate with customers effectively both written and oral.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Experience working with Angular.
  • Experience with Web Development.
  • Experience creating scripts to automate environment set ups.
  • Experience with the use of Wireshark for network analysis.
  • Experience with Telerik.
  • Experience with conversational AI (e.g. Amazon Lex).
  • Experience with consumer automation.
  • Experience with UCMA.
  • Experience with cloud computing.
  • Experience with AWS.
