Position:

We are seeking a caregiver/PCW to provide in-home care for two developmentally disabled but ambulatory gentlemen. Their beautiful home is located in Wausau near Alexander Airport Park.

Requirements:

Dependability is crucial for this position as these men must be accompanied at all times.
Must be 18 yrs or older.
Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
Valid drivers license, insurance and reliable vehicle are must haves for this position.

Job Description:

Both clients are fully ambulatory but do require assistance with showering and toileting. Meal prep is needed and assisting one client with eating. Medication administration. Household chores including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting. Transporting clients to activities or errands.

Hours:

Monday- 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Two clients. Entire shift is paid for but this is a sleep shift. Tuesday- 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Two clients. Entire shift is paid for but this is a sleep position. Thursday- 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. One client only. Sunday- Every Sunday is preferred every other Sunday is ok. 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Float position- This is a backup/ on call position to cover staff for vacation or sick time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
