Role Summary:
The Cares Coordinator works closely with the Hospitality Director to develop ways to foster strong and healthy relationships among our team and guests. This role is primarily operational with approximately 90% of time spent helping lead shifts. The Cares Coordinator is focused on creating higher guest satisfaction, stronger accountability around service, and improving Team Member skills. This individual is responsible for responding to guest feedback calls and creating a meaningful onboarding and offboarding experience.
Essential Functions:
Operational (90%)
- Provides oversight to ensure shifts are running smoothly.
- Performs front- and back-of-house tasks as needed such as operating the register, bagging and running orders, and attending to guests in the dining area.
- Ensures tasks assigned to Team Members are completed.
- Trains new employees on operational and hospitality procedures.
- Responsible for cash handling.
Administrative (10%)
- Ensures guest feedback calls are properly resolved.
- Tracks Team Member birthdays and anniversaries and plans store celebration events.
- Provides hospitality training to all new hires.
- Organizes exit interviews for team members leaving the organization.
- Implements processes to improve overall guest satisfaction.
- Collaborates with leaders to accomplish common objectives and initiatives including participating in bi-weekly leadership meetings.
Schedule:
Full-time (30-40 hours/week)- Flexibility to work morning, midday, or evening shifts as needed
- Available to work two Saturdays per month

REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in basic computer software
- One to two years of hospitality or customer service experience (Preferred)
- Education: Associate degree or higher (Preferred)
- Able to lift 40 pounds
- Able to rally the team around common goals and create a sense of unity
- Exercises active listening skills to resolve guest complaints and ensure guest retention
- Excellent customer service skills
- At least 18 years of age upon hire date
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
