Job Description
You will contribute by
Drive a tractor-trailer (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler) combination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver products
Weighing Truck to document weight and conform to state/company regulations
Performing electronic logging according to ICC regulations
Make an average of 6-8 stops per day; pallets can consist of all types of products
Maneuver truck into loading or unloading position
Inspect truck before and after trips and submit report indicating truck condition
Read bill of lading to determine assignment
Travel Required
Environment
Your work environment may include:
Grocery (dry goods) about 50-90 degrees
Perishable (Refrigerated) about 28-60 degrees
Frozen about 20-0 degrees
We are searching for candidate with:
At least 1 year of commercial truck driving experience
DOT Certification, Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Valid DOT Physical Exam
Willingness to travel
Passion for helping others
Desire to work with a team to support causes that positively impact our communities
Ability and willingness to follow all safe operating procedures while on company or customer property and all roads traveled.
