Summary
The Certification Practice Lead will be the main point of contact for all things MMIS certification related along with responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling the MMIS Certification for various module implementations.
Your role in our mission
Managing the Certification Leads
- Understand where each certification is at
- Assist with questions and escalations
- Ensure the certification documentation is kept up to date (milestones documented for historical purposes)
- Inform the team when certification process changes or when new regulations impact certification
Performing MMIS certifications
- Create and maintain the Certification Management Plan and the certification tasks in the project schedule
- Manage the Gainwell SMEs throughout their tasks (evidence creation, reviews, and revisions, ensuring the timely preparation of application Intake Forms and other supporting documentation needed for certification)
- Manage the preparation of all evidence related to certification requirements and other supporting documentation needed for certification
- Review and provide feedback to the evidence created by the Gainwell Team and State SMEs
- Submit evidence files to the State for review and approval
- Complete the applicable Intake Forms and send to the State for review and approval
- Facilitate, schedule, and scribe the checkpoint calls with the State on certification status
- Track action items and decisions from the certification meetings
Assisting Sales Team with response to proposals from states
- Create and/or review certification responses
- Ensure all responses regarding certification are accurate
- Utilize and share the historical data on certification
- Present to the states at orals
- Respond to questions from review team
What we're looking for
- PMP certification
- Experience on DDI
- Experience with MMIS Certification
- Understanding of MECT certification lifecycle
- Understanding of SMC process

The pay range for this position is $78,900.00 - $112,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
