Company Size:
Transene currently operates in both coasts of the United States: Danvers, Massachusetts and Oakland, California. Currently at our Oakland site, we have upwards of 15 full-time employees.
Hours & Location:
7am-3:30pm (with two 15-minute Breaks and one 30-minute Lunch Break included)

Job Description
Transene is growing…and we are excited to open this role: Chemical Production Worker
Ø Expect to work as an integral part of the Production Team
Ø Responsible for retrieving, weighing, and mixing chemical ingredients
Ø Work safety within a warehouse environment, often pouring and handling hazardous chemicals
Ø Responsible handling of open chemicals, prioritizing safe work practices while fulfilling orders
Ø Capable of meeting customer deadlines
Ø Monitoring equipment during the chemical process
Ø Recording information about equipment and test results when necessary
Ø Observing all company, local, state, federal, and quality regulations
Ø Perform other duties, as required, by management

Ø Strong willingness to learn
Ø Aptitude for mechanics
Ø Willingness to comply with safety rules and regulations

Ø Possess a solid understanding of chemical processes and mechanics
Ø Capable of working independently while meeting deadlines
Ø Experience in the chemical industry (preferred but not required)
Ø Strong communication skills between Production, Order Fulfillment, Customer Service, and Management
Ø Capable to work in a small team environment
Ø Willing to strive to continual improvement

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $26.00 per hour
