Kiddie Academy of Moorefield Station is an accredited child care/ preschool, serving children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years old. We are very passionate about Early Childhood Education and train our teachers to excel in their role.

We are looking to hire full time Lead and Assistant Teachers for our Infant/ Toddler and Preschool programs.

Available shifts include Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm; 7:30am - 4:30pm; 8:00am - 5:00pm; 8:30am - 5:30pm

We are searching for a nurturing teacher to ensure that the basic and educational needs of our students are met. As a lead teacher, you will be required to prepare and deliver classroom activities, communicate with staff and parents, and ensure that the learning environment remains safe at all times. You should also be an excellent role model for our students. Assistant teachers will assist the Lead teachers in reaching classroom goals.

To be successful teacher for these age groups, you should be creative, energetic, and able to encourage self-expression.

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering lessons designed to facilitate students' social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Encouraging self-expression through understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement.
• Tending to students' basic needs by feeding and dressing them.
• Mediating conflict between students.
• Modelling appropriate behaviors, even when not on duty.
• Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning at all times.
• Tracking and informing parents of students' progress.
• Attending parent and staff meetings.
• Must be able to lift children at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
