Job description

Providing care for children of ages 6 weeks to 8 years. Must be able to engage with children in a positive attitude. Part of the Step Up to Quality and Rooted in Relationship programs and must adhere to the directives of these programs. Some light cleaning, cooking may be required. Must be able to follow guidlines in diapering, discipline, teach and basic care for children. Should be a self starter and be able to come up with engaging activities at a moments notice and have the ability and desire to plan fun learning activites as well.

Early childhood education is not required but will be considered an asset. Some experience in childhood care is required. Should have held a job in 2022.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
