SUMMARY:
The Greeter will provide excellent customer service to the guests of the restaurant outlets of the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel by directing guests to appropriate sections based upon server availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Immediately upon the guests’ arrival at the greeter stand or upon the greeter’s return from seating another guest make eye contact and greet customers in a friendly manner.
- Seat guests in dining areas as soon as a table is available to accommodate their party size.
- Answer guest inquiries.
- Maintain a reservation list as appropriate.
- Answer telephone and assist callers.
- Bus, clean, and set tables as needed.
- Keep greeter stand clean and organized.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel promotions, events/activities, bussing schedules, operation information, and machines in play in order to provide information on activities conducted at establishment or be able to locate the required information quickly.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Six months previous front of house customer service experience required; one year preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Must have a thorough understanding of the steakhouse seating chart and section seating flow.
- Must be able to learn to work the RGuest Seat Reservation System.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills required.
- Strong organization and presentation skills preferred.
- Basic problem solving and prioritizing skills preferred.
