Position: Part Time Clerical - Biller
Location: Texarkana, TX
Pay: $18.00/Hour
Hours: Flexable, prefer Wed, Thu and Fri
Job Duties Include:
- Import charges into the PM work queue and fix exceptions
- Review each patient charge to ensure to correct CPT and ICD-10 codes are utilized and linked appropriately. Confirm and add missing billable codes.
- Link copays or coinsurance if applicable
- If mid-level charge and insurance is Medicare, ensure claim is billed as NOT incident to
- Confirm and add new diagnosis codes and CPT codes when necessary
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prefer 2-5 years of billing experience
- Ability to use a computer and enter data in an electronic health record
