Job description
This position is responsible for both client service and administrative functions necessary to support the client relationship and management of the client engagement. This individual needs to have great communication, computer and organizational skills. Provide a high level of administrative support to the JLA accounting and tax team to ensure excellent customer experiences.
- Identify and compile documents needed for financial statement and tax return preparation and follow-up on open items
- Login when necessary to multiply client platforms to obtain financial and other data for the tax team.
- Maintain practice management task lists and ensure items are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Monitor both external and internal deadlines.
- Perform tax assembly and compilation of financial statement engagements to issue to clients and obtain proper signatures.
- Execute with timely communication with clients regarding information requests, government notices, completion of tax payments and other requests.
- Maintain our practice management client database and scheduling of projects.
- Assist clients with utilizing our portal for sharing information.
- Onboarding new clients and setting them up on our platform. Execute and manage efficient onboarding with clients and ensuring a smooth experience.
- Send out client communications and informational information.
- Work with our team to provide updates for website and post on Linkedin and Instragram.
- Schedule meetings and travel with our staff and clients.
- Assist with organizing client receipts, credit cards and banking activity using PDF and Online Quickbooks Pro.
- Import and reconcile bank transactions on Online Quickbooks Pro.
- Schedule and post accounting and tax jobs and assist with recruiting efforts.
- Acts as a change agent in implementation of new processes, software and tools. Update training manual as needed.
- Serve as point of contact for JLA teams to deliver a consistent and positive client experience.
- Participation in conferences or other training
- Pull internal reports to assist with payroll or other internal projects
- Create internal budgets for different projects
- Set up electronic workpapers and basic data entry
- Other duties as assigned

Job Skills / requirements:
- Minimum 4 year bachelors degree
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft products and good with learning new software
- Online Quickbooks experience is a plus
- Self-starter, able to manage calendar, due dates and overall time management
- Enjoy working with people and comfortable managing multiple projects and communicate well with the JLA team and our clients

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
