CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

(Solano County Diversion and Probation Program)


Role:

Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Clinical Supervisor has the responsibility as supervisor for the clinicians and Family Partner in the Solano County Diversion and Probation Program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision for the clinicians working within the Solano County Diversion and Probation Program
  • Oversight of clinicians documents for supervisees
  • Develop and update as needed a program manual for the Probation Program.
  • Assist in the creation of needed documents/forms for the Probation Program
  • Work with A Better Ways QA Department regarding issues to ensure compliance
  • Liaison with partner agencies to facilitate effective coordination of the Probation Program
  • Assist Director in programmatic efforts, as needed
  • Ensure client information is recorded appropriately in data base systems
  • Ensure client case information is recorded accurately and comprehensively, meeting A Better Way standards, in the electronic health record system
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance/Improvement department to keep up-to-date on Medi-Cal documentation standards
  • Assist in the management of clinicians caseloads
  • Follow all procedures and protocols related to Probation
  • Follow regulatory guidelines, mandated reporting, and program/agency protocols in performing duties
  • Abide by all provisions of the A Better Way personnel manual
  • Perform any other duties as directed


Qualifications:


  • Licensed MFT, LCSW or Psychologist
  • Experience, knowledge of providing clinical supervision
  • Excellent engagement and writing skills
  • Excellent clinical and supervisory skills
  • Ability to navigate and maintain electronic health records
  • Knowledge, understanding, and willingness to work with interdisciplinary approaches and partnerships
  • Knowledge and experience working with parent partners or family navigators
  • Understand documentation requirements and ensure that supervisees are complying with requirements

Ensure that the clinical team successfully meets a yearly productivity requirements as delineated in the program contract.

Ensure that the clinical team both submits CQRT paperwork to QA team by due date 80% of the time, and meets a chart approval rate of 80%

  • Manage the clinical team to meet EPSDT contractual expectations, including all documentation needs, timeliness of progress notes (within 24 hours of service provision), and effective chart management
  • Ability to work independently and to work as a member of a team
  • Excellent organizational, computer and communication skills.
  • Ability to pass various background checks needed to work with children

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time, 3 day a week, position (.6 FTE). Friday work day is required. Other Workdays are negotiable.


Travel

Local travel to various worksites is required.

Employees must pass a background check and receive TB and health clearances prior to employment. Compliance with Vaccination policy.
