Must possess, a certificate for C.N.A. in the state of Illinois

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

In House CNA Pool with no paid benefits

Completion of CNA training class or experience in Long Term Care desired but not required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Must have knowledge of a computer-based documentation system; preferably PCC

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language. Bilingual ( Spanish) is a +

Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.

Must pass a pre-employment physical and a positive attitude and the desire to be part of something special.

The overall purpose of the Certified Nursing Aide is to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with established nursing care procedures, state and federal guidelines, along side fellow caregivers with ongoing support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with resident laundry assuring clothes are clean.
• Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
• Sterilize and prepare medical tools, and equipment
• Assist in the transport of patients
• Provide companionship and basic care to patients
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive regard as well as calm environment throughout the unit

Qualifications

• CNA required
• Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields
• Requires valid deemed nurse aide certification in the State of Illinois
• Requires employee to have had no abuse convictions
• Prompt and regular attendance
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Team oriented

Pay: $25.00 per hour
