Title: Machine Operator (Stone industry)

*************Second shift- 2pm - 11pm)**********

Location: Hallandale Beach, Florida

ABOUT US:

Imperial Stone Corp. is a marble, granite, and quartz certified fabricator with a solid position in the stone industry. Our company provides high-level fabrication and installation of counter-tops, flooring, interior walls, and exterior cladding, along with precise workmanship and on-time installation.

We are looking for a Robot Saw/Waterjet operator, to cut Stone, Quartz, Porcelain slabs and panels. We are a fully digital templating and cutting process, with bridge cranes and wet polishing productivity. The bulk of our work is custom high-end. Stone Fabrication is often an art skill, which requires attention to detail.

We are searching for a motivated Machine Operator team member to join our organization. If you can perform the essential duties, we would like to have you apply!

Essential Duties: include the following, as well as performance of other work-related duties as assigned:

• Working in the fabrication department, where they manufacture the granite and stone counter tops.
• Load and unload materials for cutting on machine.
• Operate assigned machinery (adequate training will be provided).
• Adjust tooling on machinery to remain within operational specifications.
• Maintain equipment via greasing, table rebuilds, washing, and other light maintenance.
• Operate overhead crane with clamp or suction lifter as required.
• Proficiency with basic mathematics
• Ability to work safety, Sense of urgency in completing tasks
• Ability to produce accurate and high-quality work
• Provide assistance to others in moving heavy stone/marble/granite/ etc. materials.
• Proficiency in MS Office a plus
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as: a +plus (preferred)
• CNC Machine
• Water Jet
• Bridge Saw
• PREVIOUS MACHINE OPERATION EXPERIENCE IS A+ PLUS

• Full-time 40+ hours per week
• Weekend availability
• Must be able to work 2 weekends a month or more

Work Environment: Well ventilated warehouse environment including outside common areas. Warehouses can be noisy, busy places to work, pickers and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets of stone. They are a hive of activity built upon discipline, productivity, and teamwork. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Hourly Pay ranges:

• Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Have experience as a Machine Operator?: Ranges to be discussed with the experienced candidates
