ABOUT THE COMMERCIAL AND PERSONAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER JOB

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Personal and Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic company. This is a mid-level position and is well suited for an individual looking to advance their career. The position’s work arrangement is Hybrid, and will report to our Lake Ronkonkoma, NY office. We are seeking an experienced personal and commercial lines Account Manager to quote and sell inbound new business home, auto, boat, contractors, main street businesses, servicing, issuing certificates, endorsements, re-marketing renewals, and general customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Quoting New Business and Remarketing.
• Processing Endorsements.
• Data Entry / Hawksoft Management System.
• Issuing Certificates.
• Answering phones.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of related personal and commercial lines experience with a retail broker/independent agency and a current P&C license in any state is required. New York license preferred.
• High School Diploma required. Some college preferred.
• Proficiency with Hawksoft and PL Rater preferred, but willing to train.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook preferred.
• Mid-level experience with Casualty/General Liability, Contractors, Commercial Auto, Property, Restaurants. Homeowners & Renters, Retail/Storefronts, Personal Auto and Certificates of Insurance preferred.
• Must be an ambitious customer and detail oriented individual with good communication and problem-solving skills who is flexible, motivated and exercises good judgement.
