Job description
A service and installation company is offering immediate, full-time positions for Door Technicians. You will drive an automatic company van to various locations where you will install or repair commercial garage doors. Additionally, you will cross-train on residential garage doors. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Qualified candidates must have:
- Good carpentry or home repair skills is needed
- Must be able to read blueprints, must be mechanically inclined
- Must be comfortable working on a ladder
- Must be familiar with door hardware, and must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Any candidate that has basic electrical and welding skills is a big plus.
- Company to provide paid training
- This is a career opportunity
- Only candidates that can pass a background, BMV check, and drug screen will be considered
