Commercial Mortgage Loan Officer

Mortgage loan officer will be responsible for developing new business, underwriting, structuring, and closing commercial mortgage loans. Marketing the company’s products and services to potential new clients.

Compensation: Commensurate with relevant experience. Starting at $100,000 + commissions, bonuses and benefits. Potential for future equity compensation.

Hours: Full time

Job Description:

-Develop business relationships with local real estate developers and investors.

-Originate and close loans both as a broker and a lender

Requirements:

-5+ years of experience in related positions with the following specialties:

· Commercial mortgage loan origination

· Underwriting commercial real estate investment

· Credit analysis

· Cash flow modeling

· Construction finance

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Specific Job Duties:

• Develops new business by calling on and developing relationships with prospective customers
• Collaborates with company principals to complete mortgage lending and brokerage transactions
• Collects and analyzes prospective client financial information for multifaceted and/or complex borrowers
• Manages customer pipeline to ensure efficiency
• Negotiates loan terms and fees
• Ensures that loan transactions are properly documented and closed in accordance with approved terms and conditions
• Markets financial products and services to existing and prospective customers
• Ensures that all lending activities are conducted in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Stays current of changes in lending standards, industry practices, and legal/compliance requirements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned
