Roles & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
As the Compliance Specialist, the ideal candidate will conduct general compliance requirements for Quest Trust Company. The Compliance Specialist will also be responsible for conducting account reviews, provide department oversight, conduct testing for policies and procedures, and assist with the training of new hires. The Compliance Specialist aids with the implementation of policies and procedures and ensures they are aligned with company goals while balancing other regulatory requirements/suggestions. The change brought about by these implemented practices aims to be practical and avoid creating unnecessary hurdles for all client facing departments.
- Conduct account reviews
- Analysis of Remediation Efforts
- Provides department oversight
- Conducts testing of procedures
- Conducts desk sweeps of employee workstations to ensure compliance regulations are being followed
- Provides internal training to staff
- Assists with manual and procedure reviews and provides amendment recommendations
- Provides assistance with annual regulatory exams
- Ensures employees are completing required compliance training
- Performs other job-related duties as required
Education & Experience
- Associate’s degree required
- A minimum of 1-3 years of directly job-related experience recommended

- Ability to problem solve
- Previous experience with self-directed IRAs
- Ability to conduct effective training
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of current state and federal regulations

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
