Job description

We have an immediate opening for a Composite Technician. We are looking for a person with experienced working with fiber glass Prepreg , carbon fiber Prepreg , and other composite materials. We are an Aviation Repair and Aerospace Manufacturing company located at the Van Nuys Airport.

Composite Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review blueprints and instructions
• Cut, Layup and cure composite materials
• Trim, assemble, and finish each composite piece
• Inspect components to ensure they meet specifications
• Maintain equipment and tools
• Document your work according to company guidelines
• Follow all safety protocols

Composite Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience working with composite materials
• Proficient with composite tools and techniques, such as Prepreg and wet lay-up
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Capable of lifting 30 lbs.
• Reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
