Examples of Duties:
- Teach Instructional courses in Information Technology support including computer literacy, Microsoft productivity applications and help desk/ user support.
- Provide instruction for lecture and lab courses related to primary teaching assignment.
- Continuous curriculum development, including the design, revision, and implementation of instructional materials, and learner assessment.
- Integration of assessment activities into teaching practices and participation in department and college-wide assessment of student learning.
- Support of the success and development of students through the use of a variety of instructional methods, available office hours, and by providing additional resources.
- Development and implementation of on-campus, on-line and hybrid courses.
- Availability to teach at any of our locations during the daytime, evening or weekend.
- Contribution into department decisions on budget, scheduling, textbook selection etc.
- Embrace and support student diversity.
- Participation in discipline, team, campus, and college matters through service on committees; attendance at regular meetings; and continued professional development.
- Support and advance the department and college mission through ideas and projects.

Occupational Experience Requirement
- Five full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in computer technology support.
Recency Requirement
- One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
