Job description

Responsible for managing general contractors and subcontractors, budgets, and schedules on Tidal Wave projects in support and coordination of overall construction project completion. Administer construction contracts; conduct on-site inspection to monitor plan compliance. Direct activities of contractors and subcontractors to support project schedule in compliance with plans and specifications. Research, plan, and administer building projects, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, and building materials. Receive, review and coordinate contract changes into project delivery. Be intimately and completely knowledgeable of current and future activities in area(s) of responsibility and be able to implement countermeasures to support project schedule.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop detailed estimations and schedules, including materials, equipment, and labor.
• Support planning, organizing, and coordinating installation with project supervisors to ensure efficient and timely performance of installation activities.
• Develop installation procedures for site team.
• Provide construction floor loading.
• Coordinate to ensure adequate labor.
• Support and hold employees accountable for a safe working environment.
• Effectively monitor and report weekly project progress and status updates, including schedule progress, materials, rentals, and labor.
• Establish baseline inventory of tools and enforce all supervisors maintaining this inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• At least 3 years’ experience estimating and planning labor, equipment, and materials for construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project
• Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization
• Familiarity with drawings, as well as purchasing, contracting, estimating, construction procedures and processes.
• Business acumen to plan and analyze projects from all angles including safety, constructability, sequence, contingencies, and priorities to quickly identify and avoid risks.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or related field of study preferred.

• Can pass a drug test and criminal background check.
• Are legally eligible to work in the United States.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
