Janji’s mission is to explore, connect and change the world through running. We make globally inspired performance running apparel while contributing 2% of sales towards clean water projects in the places we run around the globe. Janji sells online at Janji.com as well as in REI and independent running retailers nationwide.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As Content Marketer, you’ll execute Janji’s content marketing plan across Instagram, email, SMS, and Janji.com. We’re looking for a creative mind to tell stories across channels- measurably amplifying the Janji brand. The role sits on Janji’s marketing team along with an Art Director, Digital Director and Content Producer, and will report into the Director of Marketing.

This is a full-time, hybrid position that works out of our Somerville, MA studio two days a week — but we will consider remote options for the right candidate.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

• Brainstorm, pitch, ideate, and create inspiring and entertaining campaigns that come to life across a range of channels including email, SMS, Instagram, Tiktok, and Janji.com.
• Collaborate effectively with Janji’s Marketing team
• Oversee the editorial calendar to ensure campaigns come to life on time and with measurable results
• Own all copywriting across various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent Janji brand voice
• Own the entire email channel including planning, copywriting, A/B testing, and building emails in the Klaviyo email software platform
• Support Digital Marketing with advertising copy, sponsored content, and SEO-oriented content planning
• Manage Janji’s social media presence on Tiktok and Instagram, including posting as well as engaging with followers

WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU’VE DONE

• 2+ years experience in brand marketing, social media, or communications. You’ll be tasked with owning the Janji brand voice so we need you to have advanced copywriting, editing, and campaign planning skills
• You’ve got what it takes to independently plan and project manage Janji’s editorial calendar — including holding yourself and others accountable for creative inputs and deadlines
• Deep understanding of modern social media including platform-specific best practices and trends
• Experience with Klaviyo or a comparable email marketing software at a medium to expert level
• Basic design skills or experience with Adobe Suite or Canva including the ability to create GIFs are a big plus
• Involvement and understanding of the trail running industry is a plus

• Ability to work out of the Janji Studio in Somerville, MA twice a week is a plus — but we will consider remote options for the right candidate
