Primary Purpose of the Job: This position includes a variety of duties primarily in the Energy Management Controls design and installation area.

In your position you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Development and design of energy management controls systems for optimal performance using AutoCAD products. Including creating system diagrams, electrical install drawings, bill of material list and material procurement.

• Estimate EMS controls project installation cost.
• Negotiate and execute subcontractor contracts.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for factory mounted controls to meet installation schedule.
• Generate and manage project closeout documentation including as-builts with final install and checkout documentation.
• Sales and engineering site survey and building temperature controls evaluation support.

• Attend required progress meetings to ensure proper project execution.
• Maintain customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Qualified individuals should possess:

• Technical aptitude along with advanced computer skills.
• Full understanding of typical HVAC systems such as hot water and and chilled water systems, air handling units, unit ventilators, VAV boxes, etc.
• Possess the ability to read and understand technical specifications, construction plans, and contract requirements.
• Full understanding of low voltage electrical systems.

• AutoCAD experience
• Excellent initiative, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Prior experience in designing multiple brand EMS control systems such as Alerton, Distech, Trane, Siemens, JCI, etc.
• DDC controls integration knowledge including Tridium, BACnet, and LON.
• 4 yr degree or equivalent experience
