Responsibilities:
Revolution is now hiring a Conversion Supervisor for its Day Shift in Vernon, CA. The Conversion Supervisor role is a hands-on position. It requires effective utilization of resources to meet production schedules.
- Perform pass-down meetings with all department employees before the shift.
- Reviews job orders on the schedule to run production.
- Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain work-flow by monitoring process steps, monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
- Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating equipment and techniques.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel to use their Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
- 2 years of increasingly responsible conversion experience involving quality, operating, and maintaining machinery.
- Ability to obtain a valid Forklift certification.
- Necessary math skills - Addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports.
- Essential reading and writing skills.
- Ability to operate a computer and assigned software.
