Corporate Development M & A Manager-Construction Group
Job description
This position is responsible for identifying perspective Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) opportunities, specific to Heavy Highway/Civil Construction, Asphalt Manufacturing and Laydown, Quarries/Aggregate and other operation considerations, at the direction of Sr. Management of Eurovia USA.
Key Duties
· At the direction of Sr. Management, identify potential Heavy Highway, Construction and/or Asphalt Operation Business Development Opportunities, including mergers & acquisitions, asset purchases, partnerships, joint ventures, etc.
· Serve as interface for the Company with acquisition candidates, including negotiation of Indication of Interests (IOI’s), Level of Intent (LOI’s) and Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA)or Definitive Agreement (DA’s)to ensure Company’s strategy and goals are achieved
· Serve as a key resource to the Executive Team and business unit leaders on a full range of corporate development activities, including financial analysis, business analysis, due diligence, valuation, and transition/integration in a manner consistent with the Company’s corporate strategy.
· Coordinate and facilitate the venture process for various M&A opportunities and other significant strategic capital expenditure projects working in concert with internal and external cross-disciplinary resources in a manner that supports the strategic growth of the company.
· Conduct or manage the valuation or financial analysis for major ventures of the company to ensure sound economic thinking has been applied for major capital decisions.
· Manage the valuation and other financial analysis processes for M&A, asset optimization and other major capital decisions of the company in a manner that is consistent with the companies’ financial analysis guidelines and templates.
· Conduct or facilitate the development of transaction structures, working closely with business development, legal counsel and other cross-disciplinary resources that take into consideration the needs of the company, transaction risks, and the needs of the seller to ensure creative solutions to unique issues can be resolved and lead to successful closing.
· Develop unique and/or adapt existing analytical models to fit the more complex needs of a project in a manner that is consistent with sound economic and finance theory to support corporate strategic initiatives.
Education / Work Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another related field of study is required
· Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in a corporate development, corporate finance or strategic consulting environment
· Operations, Construction or Construction Materials Experience
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
· Proven analytical, project management and organizational skills with strong written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrated excellence and versatility in undertaking financial and strategic analysis, particularly in selecting and applying appropriate principles to specific issues and in developing an opinion based on their analysis
· Demonstrated ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure, tight timelines, and changing priorities
· Strong executive-level presentation skills and the demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization required
· Internally motivated and proactive to seek out alternative ideas to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the group through the development of new skills, generation of new ideas and ability to drive change
· Excellent team leadership skills and ability to manage/lead teams under tight timelines
· Advanced to expert proficiency of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Pay: $129,532.00 - $145,815.00 per year
