Job Description
As a Corporate Tooling Engineer at Mauser Packaging Solutions, you will oversee, on a regional basis, all Tool and Die related activities. Working closely with Plant-level resources, you will have a clear understanding of the current state of all tools within the plant, establish proper TPM protocols for said tools, ensure the plants have critical spare parts to minimize downtime and scrap. Develop preventative maintenance schedules for all tools, schedule and coordinate any tool needing to be taken out of service for 3rd party maintenance or rebuilds.

As a Corporate Tooling Engineer, your essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop complete understanding of the health of our Tools across Metals
- Develop a grading system to priorities TPM and rebuild schedules
- Diagnosis & troubleshoot Tooling related concerns as they arise.
- Continuous improvement of Tool designs by working with Design & Process Engineering
- Develop and ensure critical spare parts for minimizing downtime
- Develop plant level expertise in TPM & repair and maintenance of tools.
- Diagnosing error or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Provide timely and detailed reports on your findings.
- Develop capital requirements to support Tooling needs for world class uptime
- Provide emergency coordination with 3rd party vendors to minimize downtime
- Provide hands on rebuilds or repairs to Tools when 3rd party vendors are not available or timely.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 10 years of Industrial based Tooling
- Working knowledge of TPM principles and techniques
- Experience in complex organizational setting
- Metal Stamping background is ideal
- Strong Hands on Application of Tool and Die Maintenance and Rebuild Principles
- Ability to work safely and efficiently without hands on supervision
- Strong analytical, quantitative and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships and teams
- Ability to drive large complex projects to successful completion on time and on budget
- Working Knowledge of Metals Stamping Tools
- Understanding and background in the principles of TPM.
