Coilcraft, Inc., founded in 1945, is an established worldwide organization specializing in the manufacturing of magnetic components with headquarters located in Cary, Illinois. We are seeking an individual to join our accounting team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides direction and supervision to credit department staff.
• Assist in the administration and formulation of worldwide credit/collection policies of the company.
• Determine customer credit capacity and authorize the extension of credit.
• Manage the compilation of credit information.
• Routinely perform financial analysis on customers, competitors, and vendors; interpret and communicate findings.
• Determine action to take in collection of past due accounts where normal collection procedure have failed; address any customer bankruptcy proceedings/legal issues.
• Review worldwide customer sales contracts and approve terms of sale.
• Authorize financial arrangements for foreign shipments.
• Prepare data showing credit activities and the status of accounts.
• Frequently communicate with sales and finance on the status of client accounts or the credit classification of prospective clients.
• Evaluate and improve current processes.
• Negotiate to reduce payment terms of customers.
• Analyze customers' billing/payment currencies.
• Monitor worldwide customers' financials periodically/continually.
• Evaluate the credit worthiness of vendors.
• Maintain customer relationships.

We Require:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2-3 years of progressive business-to-business credit/collections experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• 2+ years of experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of all MS Office programs, including Excel
