Job Description


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the payment of customer debt through positive customer service
  • Applying cash payments to the internal credit control database
  • Supporting the finance and accounting team by assisting with any ad-hoc projects
  • Debt collection: Maintaining receivables at 95% within 90 days or less
  • Maintaining notes and procedures
  • Invoicing clients
  • Timeliness of tasks, reports and projects
  • Accuracy of information and projects completed
  • Ability to persuasively and tactfully speak with clients regarding debt
  • Ability to collect money (tenacious-good follow through)
  • Maintaining a certain level of service knowledge
  • Provide updates to management on current status of debt on an ad-hoc basis

Qualifications
  • Software Skills – MS Office Suite
  • Ability to analyze business information and communicate effectively to the Finance/Accounting Department
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize
  • Knowledge of credit controls
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • Previous work experience working with Credit Control
  • Corporate collection experience a plus
  • Prior professional experience working in a Finance Department

Additional Information


The salary range for this full-time role is $44K-$115K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
