Our MacFood Mart team is seeking a Customer Service Associate who can assist in food service, and represent and promote our store operations in an upbeat manner to exceed customer expectations! You will also coordinate activities and cooperate with other departments of the company to best serve the needs of our loyal customers. This position is full-time, however we have part time positions open as well. Pay can vary based on experience.

We are hiring at our Royville MacFood Mart location, located at 12635 Coldwater Road. All shifts are needed! *Premium pay is available for closers!

Our Brookwood MacFood Mart location, on 10317 Bluffton Road is hiring for part-time midday coverage, and weekend closing shifts.

Our Wayne Haven (on US 930 Wayne Haven across from Wendy’s) and Goshen Road (off Elkhart exit) MacFood Mart are always hiring!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet each customer upon arrival in the store
• Assist customers with their needs to provide them with an excellent experience
• Complete sales transactions quickly and accurately to meet and exceed customers’ expectations Develop the ability of "Up-Selling"
• Maintain food and beverage stock on shelves and in coolers
• Complete shift reports and account for inventory during vendor check-ins
• Maintain interior and exterior appearance of our store and station through daily housekeeping tasks
• Treat customers and other team members in a friendly, courteous manner
• Assist in covering shifts in case of call-offs/no-shows Provide lottery and cigarette counts as required
• Develop the ability to understand instructions for operating electronic cash registers, computers, and other equipment Minimum Qualifications:
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Adjust to an inside and outside environment in variable weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and move freely in the performance of the job.
• Ability to work in a cooler at a temperature of 34 degrees up to 30 minutes at a time.
