Summary:
Dayton Lamina is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. We service more than 13,000 customers across the globe and have more than 300,000 catalog parts. This position will be responsible for successfully receiving, processing, and interpreting incoming order requests, and all order related questions; as well as resolving customer issues if they arise. This can turn into a hybrid role after 6 months, with time in the office and time working from home. The working hours are from 10:00am-7:00pm, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a customer service role with strong analytical and problem solving skills, Account Representative experience a plus.
Job Responsibilities
· Timely management of all customer’s requests and inquiries
· Process and follow-up on all sales orders
· Ability to read and understand purchase orders
· Perform research to answer customer inquiries and requests
· Team oriented with ability to effectively communicate with multiple departments
· Ability to gain product knowledge
· Troubleshoot customer account activities with positive resolutions
Qualifications
· Minimum high school diploma/GED, with a degree in business/communication preferred
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Comfortable working in a high volume role
· Strong communication skills within multiple channels of a business environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
· Experience with ERP & CRM software systems. JD Edwards and Sales Force a plus
